Assessment

Tii Methodologies

The first goal of the assessment phase is to gain an understanding of the business and economic impact the project will have on the organization. This understanding provides the backdrop for the project so that as we progress through the various stages of the project life cycle we understand the projects importance to the organization.

The second goal of the assessment phase is requirements gathering. This starts by conducting joint planning sessions with the client to fully understand the product vision and to sketch the concept of the proposed application from all perspectives including financial, marketing, clinical, research and technological. These sessions form the basis upon which the system is defined and include:

  • System requirements
  • Security assessment
    • User roles
    • Access
    • Administrative rights
  • Operational assessment
    • Business rule assessment
    • Functionality
    • User interface
    • End user experience
  • Data management and reporting assessment
    • Types of reports
    • Frequency of reports
    • Report layout
    • Report delivery formats
  • Application testing assessment
  • Milestone assessment

Our business analysts document these requirements in a detailed plan that serves as a comprehensive blueprint for the project.
